I really hate when people post shit like this trying to ruin the game for others who have no want to know this info. I look at this as a intended spoiler and it pisses me off to no end.
-
This was my 2nd most hyped game of the year (after dark souls 2 cuz its fking dark souls 2 yo). Spent 23h in the alpha. Over 40 in beta. Now, today,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i r really ******* disappointed to hear this. I feared something similar would happen but didn't want to believe and bam it happened. How fking hard is it to make a strike? You take a portion of the explorable map, fill it with specific enemies, spawn a boss at the end and its done. How in the actual fk do we have only 6 strikes (5 on xbone/360)? WTF is this? Seriously if this game is smaller than something like Dragon's Dogma or Borderlands 1 it'll be the biggest disappointment in the past many years. And $10-20 dlc's/expansions isn't an excuse.
-
Not as much as I hoped for, but there is still a lot to do. Only 1 month left to go.
-
I'm sorry but I will not believe there are only 22 story missions. Bungie also confirmed in another video a couple days ago that there are 16 confirmed crucible maps so hopefully this ain't true
-
Well, if what they plan on doing is slowly releasing expansions/updates... they also might not be free. I mean their publisher is ACTIVISION. Rip to having to pay $20 for each expansion.

Edited by LuXx1200: 7/27/2014 6:30:40 PMYou got this from The Destiny Blog. The Destiny Blog got it from a subreddit. That just proves this info is a liability.
-
Really hope this list is false.
-
Source, Reddit. Yeah, no.
-
i think the problem is that the dlc's were actually part of the game and to make money of it they removed 2 portions as dlc instead of making actual extra content
-
Unconfirmed here-say at this point. More areas than old Russia on earth alone have been mentioned by bungie. Not saying this is wrong but I'll wait to here from bungie
-
Edited by JohnnyBravo: 7/27/2014 6:37:48 PMVenus alone will have 8 missions.. I think you have the wrong numbers good sir.
-
The amount of content provided in the initial release is inconsequential to me. I've never bought a shooter for the "campaign" so to speak.
-
Has there been any dev comment on 1 raid? The only reason I had planned to buy this game was for the raids. I assumed it was raids, plural. It had better be raids, plural. I didn't preorder, and am now going to hold off on purchasing the game. If it's just a single raid, I'm not purchasing the game.
-
There are grimoire cards for jupiter and saturn though. Why would they make those if they weren't gonna put the planets in?
-
4 exploration areas.. Well.. I don't know about that. I really do like Destiny but, I mean for $60? This better be good..
-
Just 22 story missions? Well I hope that isn't true or that some of those missions take a long time to complete and are really deep. On the topic of 6 strikes; judging from the one strike we got access to I am guessing they will all take some time to complete so 6 isn't too bad. I would have liked more than one raid but I am guessing that single raid takes a long time to complete and is hard to complete in general. The number of things to do is pretty good for a free-to-play. I would prefer to have to pay like 10 bucks every month in exchange for a completely shared world with different servers and more missions, strikes and raids but that is probably just my opinion around here.
-
Very awesome post nice

Edited by Ethsentray: 7/27/2014 7:00:25 PMCheck your grimoire cards under "places", that's more viable. Anyone notice how the actual place is "Ocean of Storms" and the link says "Sea of Storms"?
-
This isn't accurate at all
-
Edited by Cryosphered: 7/27/2014 6:47:49 PMSo you're taking word from an unofficial source (The Destiny Blog) who took word from an even more unreliable source (Reddit) as fact? Right kiddo. No thanks. I'll see when the game comes out. Besides, that link doesn't even mention Europa, Jupiter's moon, which is a confirmed location in Destiny, nor does it mention anything about Saturn. Bullshit and lies. That's all that link is.

Edited by Jedi (Timelost): 7/27/2014 6:46:41 PMTo everyone saying that the missions weren't difficult and were too short, you have to remember that come full release, you won't have grinded lvl 8 gear and lvled up skills at this point in the game. Part of the reason everyone destroyed the moon mission was because we had all been playing at lvl 8 for so long and had pretty much met our max potential for that lvl. Unless your crazy, you wont have played the first 4 story missions 3 times each and ran around old russia for 48 hours (for example) before playing the 5th mission in the game ...
-
So what? Than it will be. I think you will spend a lot of time farming ur equip for the higher strikes and the raid. Wait till the game is full release
-
What are strike missions?
-
"At launch" which is fine. Ill be expecting some really packed in dlc with more areas to explore hopefully like Saturn mercury Europa and old Chicago
-
Wow! I think this is awesome. 26 missions counting the strikes...with 3 difficulties each that will need to be met before the main event raid that apparently takes quote a bit of time also with 3 levels...the last one being 31...then at least 11 crucible maps that will be used to gain points with factions...plus 4 open world maps....with significant future content to come. I just hope I can play through it all in time for the sequel.

Honestly, after spending 20+ hours at level 8, doing Devil's Lair and pvp over and over again, all in upgraded green-quality gear, I'm happy just to get to level 10 and start using blue-quality gear and weapons.
