Yes for split screen. My wife and I play split screen all the time. She really got into Halo and gears of war and borderlands. Only have one console. I was really excited about Destiny but no split screen may not work with our playing habits and household. We tend to play after work at night together. We also play online with other family members and friends and we each have our own live accounts. Taking turns just does not seem like a good alternative and I do not have the money for a second console and copy of the game.
