Because if I find a legendary warlock item, I'd like to be able to trade it for a titan legendary. Does anybody know the answer to this question?
-
I hope not
-
It would be nice for gear outside your clasd
-
Yes. Destiny's trading system is coming online soon.
Bungie keeps breaking the gameplay, folks will be trading this game in...
-
No because when you have only one character example warlock and you get a titan armor then you have to make a titan make him level 20 and wear it same with the Hunter so bungie wants you to play all characters (the more time you play the happier they get and richer)
-
2 RepliesNo! but sometimes I find the need to be able to give ammo packs to people in the raids lol
-
I feel like the main problem bungie is thinking is that players will get to high levels faster or something. Why not make it so you can only trade exotics for exotics and so on.

5 RepliesUnfortunately, through all my research, Destiny will not be adding a player trade system. This is a stupid decision though, given the nature of the game. It's a poorly developed loot system that will give you a rare or legendary drop, but for a class you don't use. I do not feel I should have to start a new character, level them up to 20, just so I can use a titan chest piece I earned with my hunter. As far other comments go that state you can simply just scrap it. Those people are stupid. You get 12-30 glimmer for scrapping an item, which is worthless. They don't even have an option to sell stuff to a NPC vendor and at least get a little something from an item you're not using. Overall Destiny is a game made up of one off features that have stared in other games, but has failed to bring anything new to the table. It has a lack luster story that can beaten very easily, and as of right now is not something I would call game of the year material.

1 ReplyAn in game economy that is player driven is HUGE part of what makes an MMO a good MMO, they would be foolish not to IMO.
-
3 RepliesThen what in the hell am I supposed to do with the three straight gjallarhorns the game has given me!?!?!?!?!? It's the only exotic weapon the game wants to give me! Nothing else!

I mean, I don't know about anyone else, but I hardly get legendary regardless of class. So I don't think a trading system would hurt anything. Will they add one? Well, if ME3 taught me anything it's that if enough people complain about something, they'll do anything to shut it up.
-
Hopefully not. :)
-
NEVER *evil laugh*
-
5 RepliesYes, they will. It was in an article. I don't remeber which one because I read so much about destiny. What they said, is yes, son. My assumption would be during the dlc update. Either way, soon.
-
Hopefully it never will.

Edited by darthrynaldo: 10/14/2014 7:40:00 PMat least let us trade with xur or the guntrader/etc for a random or something fun... dang...

2 RepliesPeople can say we don't need a trading system cause of third party blah blah blah or pay to win but really that is how games go. Look at WoW and al these other games. It happens in there but they are great games. Trading would open up many more things in this game and as it grows it will only become a smaller problem due to content being there for different ways to go. As it is now you grind and grind which is great but cash is useless. We have nothing but ammo to spend it on or upgrades. So why not pop the cap on our cash limit and let us spend it on each other. Games that let you haggle are better on the economy that this game and most of them are single player. That is saying something right there.

-
No and hopefully never
-
Yeah. You put an item in the vault and pick it up with your other character. Trade complete. Any more than that would defeat the purpose of the game.
-
1 ReplyNo! Trade = China Farmer == Pay2win
-
I actually just posted something like this. Sorry I didn't see your post. I think this would be a good idea.

ask activision how much money she wanna make... if she want to make some more money then no.... there will be no trading on destiny... bungie dont want people will sell wepons/armor on ebay or somewhere else. but again... ask activision

1 ReplyThe original Destiny was suppose to have trading until they made all of the cuts. BUNGIE is slowly trying to make this game what it was suppose to be. Saying yes or no and pretending like I know the answer would be ignorant, so I will say, it looks bright at the end of the tunnel.
