Because if I find a legendary warlock item, I'd like to be able to trade it for a titan legendary. Does anybody know the answer to this question?

i just got the same exotic helmet i already have and my friend and i are defenders so this helmet is totally that what he wants and i am playing striker subclass to so want his helmet so fuuuuuuu just enable trading if its on your friends like at least 1 month in you friends list

5 RepliesYes Destiny will have a trade system.
-
I actually hope not, after the farce of Diablo 3's market. It's lame, but it is what it is. I've already seen dodgy companies trying to sell Destiny loot for absurd prices (I think it was $600 for an exotic engram, HA!) and that's when it's impossible. If it was actually possible it'd be a real problem.
-
No trading system currently. I wouldn't mind seeing a trading system where items of the same rarity could be traded (i.e. legendary armor for legendary armor, exotic for exotic, rare class item for rare class item, rare shader for rare shader, etc.)
-
2 RepliesNo there isn't, While I am glad you can't trade weapons/amour I wish you could trade glimmer/martials (spin metal, strange coins etc)
-
Would love to see one put into the game at some point, tired of getting legendary/exotic titan gear when I have no desire to start a titan.
-
4 RepliesI would like to see a trading system like d3's loot 2.0 where you can only trade items to your party for a certain amount of time. At least that way you can trade stuff but not ruin the games eco system with people being able to buy there way to the top.
-
Currently, No. In the future, Maybe.
-
I say they should have like a dumb liked thing you put in a legendary you do not want and you might get a legendary that you want out of it. though if it is arms it has to me an arm one Etc. Sure good idea make it cost 100 glimmer per trade in
-
3 RepliesNo, because that would make sense. Here's a free Grimore card though!
-
yes I would like to see trading
-
I hope not

1 ReplyI do wish you could trade the upgrade materials at least, I need loads of relic iron atm to upgrade all my gear and while it's not difficult to acquire it, it's this part of the game I find most tedious, especially when I need like, 50 of them or something. :(

Edited by joeylee30: 9/30/2014 8:25:11 AMIt's made this way so u would make a different class to use or dismantle it I have 2 titans 1 lvl 29 and one 20 and lvl 23 hunter so make new character or scrap it
-
What is there to trade? only thing i'd possibly trade for is low level upgrade material.... If they was to implement a trade system they will only then account/toon lock anything that's probably legendary +... so in giving what you want they will still deny you what you need. People cry that trading is in wow but last time i checked you cant trade anything that's equivalent of our legendary's (unless its ancient and created before they implemented the locks)
-
That's why there's a vault.
-
The reason this happens is because Bungie wants you to think about trying out a different class. Just vault it and when you decide to try out a different class it will be easy to level them up past 20.

11 RepliesI hope so bc I went to xur yester day n bought the exotic chest piece engram n it was Titan I'm warlock I was pissed to waste 23 more of light n I keep getting legendary n exotic hunter n more Titan gear it's stupid
-
Not yet, hopefully soon
-
4 Repliesnope they do not and won't, bungie wants you to work for it and earn it. Besides, if you get something you don't or can't use, then dismantle it and it gives you money for it...
-
...do it.
-
i agree there should be some sort of trading system like u can only trade a legendary helmet for another legendary helmet and dismantling a traded item gives you no ascendant materials.
-
People will start selling items for real money and I don't think bungie would like that. People could buy glimmer from sellers just like in FIFA where you can buy and sell coins. It's pathetic.
-
I wouldn't mind if you could trade glimmer for materials. Or even for ammo, but that's kinda it. I can either hold my Titan/Hunter armour for my other accounts or I could easily dismantle it and get ascendant shards.
-
15 Repliesyou wont ever find gear that isn't for your class. and no, they want you only to wear what you earn
