Which guns need improvement?

Crucible Balancing

1. Vehicles a) Either have vehicles spawn later on (at least on control game mode) b) or award them as an alternative to sparrow spawn as players gather points throughout the game. Of course, the spawn should be permanent. c) On maps that allow vehicles, make heavy ammo more available. 2. Weapons I don't know about higher level weapons, so I may be wrong on this. a) Increase auto rifle recoil. b) Decrease pulse rifle recoil, increase accuracy. c) Hand cannon's hip fire needs to be more accurate. 3. Hunter Super a) Hunter super allows the easy-killing nature of supers persist for a period of time, rather than being a one-burst spell like that of Warlock's or Titan's. A little overpowered, in my opinion b) If the suggestion above can not be tackled, at least offer multiple supers per class that more or less work the same way.

  • Maybe play hunter before commenting. Both of our supers are single target. How on earth would it be fair to only lunge once during arc blade to kill a maximum of one person when Titan and warlock can kill as many people as there are in the AoE radius.

    • So are all of those the ways you died and your solution to not die again?

      • All I ask is that balancing be data driven and not reactive to complaints alone.

      • The Gunslinger super is fine since you actually have to aim and they die if they are shot, Bladedancer is way OP though. People need to not spawn with special ammo and special ammo needs to spawn way less frequently.

      • I think its fine. The hunter's golden gun is fine, because it takes time to cast (and hunters can be killed while raising the gun above their head and lose their super, it's happened to me multiple times.) The warlock and titan can both panic super enemies, which is kind of lame. I mean its better than wiping out 3 of my team, but if you round a corner against my hunter I can't panic and hit my super button and instantly in the engagement. Finally, I've noticed that the titan keeps his super in the very rare chance that they get killed while casting their fist of havoc. On three separate occasions I've died (one from casting with low health, one from a headshot sniper, one from a rocket) and on all three occasions I've kept my super. I don't know first hand, but a friend has told me that the warlock doesn't keep their super if killed while casting. THAT of all things should be changed. If you see a hunter with a golden gun, try to kill them, try to run for cover, hope they don't have good aim. If you manage to kill the hunter, even while they're pulling out their golden gun, theres the end of that. If you see a titan round a corner with their super, all you can do is try to kill them. If you do manage to kill the titan, they still have their super. Does anyone think that's fair? I don't think so.

        • rofl if you think Golden Gun is OP you're just bad. Arc Blade is a bit borderline since it's incredibly hard to track the Hunter but not impossible to win with a shotgun or fusion rifle. Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc though, absolutely no hope of survival and pretty much guaranteed multi-kills every time. Pretty much "press bumpers to win". Scout Rifles need to do more damage, they are not viable at all AR's outclass them at all ranges which is ridiculous. Pule Rifles seem fine to me now, Fusion Rifles could use a nerf though (lower the 1-shot kill distance)

I just want to see a small increase to time duration for Golden Gun, many times I've only had enough time to get one shot in because of the time it takes to activate it, which leaves you vulnerable for a couple seconds, activating it near 2-3 enemies is a bad idea, so I activate it when I see enemies off in the distance and pick them off from range which usually only gives me 1-2 shots with the 3rd being wasted or just not enough time to get the 3rd shot. It's a good trade off really, Hunters have a long time casting for Golden Gun, but we get the range while Titans and Warlocks are instantaneous, but they have an aoe that can take out a whole team if they were all in the same spot. Hunters are all about precision killing, Titans and Warlocks aren't, so it's only fair that we get the range advantage in our super over the AoE.
