Most games that you use remote play will be able to detect that you are doing so, and it changes on screen prompts accordingly. For example, even in remote play, it prompts you to press "options" rather than "start." It'd be nice if you could use the touch screen as the cursor if the touchpad was implemented in a similar fashion. I haven't really experimented that much with the control schemes, but I've been unable to use emotes as the sprint button is mapped to the d-pad rather than the back touchpad, like other FPS games on vita. Maybe you can use vitas touch screen mapping functionality to fix this but I've yet to try it.
