Actually you can. Just sit idle afew mins and your gun will go down.

You can do it in most other games why not

It was a thing in the 2013 E3 demo. I'm surprised they didn't have that as a thing for when you weren't near enemies or had not fired your gun for a while.

Edited by Deadish: 7/31/2014 10:05:18 PMIt was in their past Halo games to assist in Machinima and video creators, I can 100% see it making a return, so that Destiny can have the same perks; and of course it would have to be an online ability since Destiny is pretty much an online only game. If you can dance and sit down, lowering your weapon should be childs play, right? [spoiler]OR A RIDICULOUSLY HARD BUTTON COMBO THAT OFTEN REQUIRED YOU TO PUSH YOUR NOSE AGAINST A BUTTON TO IMPLEMENT IT. But what game has ever done that? Haha...lo*[/spoiler]

[b]YES THAT WOULD BE GREAT[/b] Ever since the Beta ended. I've been watching ( a lot ) Destiny clips on YouTube and the E3 demo had a lot of little details that were not in the Beta. In the demo they lowered there weapons and I thought how did I forget about this. It would be great if you could do this manually or if a couple of seconds when you don't aim or shoot you lower your weapon. Everybody running around constantly aiming down scope just seems a good bit bland. If this was in the game for a little detail would make a big impact on bringing more life to everyone's character than them just resembling a lifeless mannequin. Little details make a big differences and for all things that is Bungie please let this be in the game.
