To be fair, for number 3, we can't really say for sure if that was truly the beginning missions or not. The fact that we don't know what will be in the final product, I think, is a pretty good reason to not transfer. The other two reasons are pure crap though.

Agreed. A lot of folks keep bitching about the lack of "story", but this is a project Bungie intends to span 10+ years. By that logic, we still won't have a super clear picture of the whole Destiny universe story by the end of all the story missions this time around. Maybe once we get to Destiny 3 or so... Also, what is the OP suggesting by point #3? That, after running through the entire game he'll only play Crucible matches? Or that he'll never create a new Guardian that will need to use the early maps to level?
