Wrong. That's not how to play control. Control is TD with a twist. The check points give multipliers on kills and such. You can win without even capping one.

Yeah you can win ANY variation of Control without capping any points. But capping them boost your score and makes your win more likely.

I wonder what a poll about how it's played would look like. I didn't realize it wasn't traditional control/domination. It would also have been helpful if anyone in the one match I did play had a mic and told me "Dude, stop playing like it's COD, we need kills to help team points". I really think talking with mics to team mates would help clear up some of this mis-understanding of the Crucible.

Trust me I just learned myself it wasn't domination lol. I agree with you it should have been clearer that it isn't domination.
