I am getting the same error as you. I'm on a monthly subscription on this account. My yearly subscription for my other account worked fine. Are you month to month?

Bah! Nothing. Going to dig into my xbox live account next. I thought maybe it had expired but when I tried to pay it said I already had the service. I remember renewing in May, so I know it should still be good. Please let me know if you come across a fix or an answer! I'll do the same.
