I agree. Waypoints would help but only in a strike team. Either that or spawning close to each other. But definitely i don't need or want so many different types of waypoints or a live map with all players.
So making drops universal is a terrible idea It completely ruins the experience of finding a variety of gear and having individual experiences. Just because you or your friend happened to get a rare drop doesn't mean you should. I've also never come across a loot chest I had to struggle to get to. So not sure what you're talking about there. Last of all. Looking at a person's inventory should only be implemented if it possible to also make it private.
The other stuff seemed like good ideas.
