Bungie,
Please add a Audio/Sound/Music control panel to the options in Destiny. Your music is great, but when I want to listen to my own music I have to either turn my game sound way down or listen to my music and yours battle it out in my head.
-
This is a considerable fail on bungie's part and should have been implemented at the start. If this game has a 10 year plan did they expect us to like the same music for that long? I appreciate the AAA quality music and theme, but my 180$ headset is useless to cancel music and hear raid members. Something about this game being social too? As far as I can tell this game has nothing but barriers that we hope will be fixed when in 2014 one would only expect these to have been options include.

Please let us turn OFF the in game music. Im really tired of hearing the music over and over. Not to mention its incredibly intense. The only thing I want when I'm in a boss battle is to stop that music. Do you really think in a game that makes you do the same six strikes over and over to get random gear that mostly is lower than what you already have we want to hear the same intense music over and over. Get over yourselves and let us turn off this Music. I don't care how much you spent on the music we already bought the game you got your money.

Pretty please!! And the option to skip cutscenes...

I've seen three different polls on this topic, Needs to be addressed and quickly.

This is super important. I have an embarrassing amount of hours on Destiny. I love the soundtrack, I actually bought the OST on iTunes. Dust Giants is my favorite track. Today, though, I just want to listen to some of my own chill tunes while knocking out the daily Vanguard bounties.
-
Please let us turn down/off the music and sound effects. Thx
-
I'm using nose headphones and my tv has a fixed audio output so it's really loud. I can change the master volume in all other games but not this one. It's ridiculous

Edited by Enter Name Here: 10/12/2014 10:21:07 AMDa music is good though

I love the music and don't want to turn it off. But I want to be able to adjust the volume of sound effects and music in-game instead of only through my speakers. This way I can run fireteam voice chat through the speakers and actually hear people's voices. What is the point of having an option for voice chat through the speakers if you can't even turn down everything else?

I would LOVE this feature. I often find myself listening to my own music on spotify or pandora a lot while gaming. The in game music can be really annoying when combined with Dubstep/EDM.

It's really frustrating sometimes. i just cope with it, and hope they release a sound control for the in game volume eventually.

Without audio controls I can't even hear the rest of my fireteam during combat. Ridiculous that the game shipped without separate chat/game/music audio controls.
-
I agree, the music is great, but it is now getting on my nerves. I wanna turn it off. It's getting even move repetitive than the gameplay.
-
As I am hearing impaired I have a hard time hearing other players in game and party chat because the games volume/music overrides chat, and I often miss what is being said.
-
A mixer setting like ps4 parties have, at least. Its almost impossible to hear anyone in game.
-
I cannot stand the music played on the Devil's Lair Strike mission. It's about 10 seconds long, and it's the longest strike in the game.
-
This needs to be done ASAP. Having the epic score blasting in my ears on the headset with my clan is BEYOND annoying. It completely breaks immersion, makes it so I can't hear my teammates communication and I'm generally sick of the same score over and over. This should have been live day one, along with skipping cut scenes once you've seen them already. The only reason I can think that it wasn't is because you took time to develop the music and cut scenes. Well the blasting music during firefights wasn't thought out because we can't hear teammates. Making us sit through your cut scenes just reminds us how objectively bad your dialogue is.
-
I don't mind the music but when i can't hear game voice overs or if my gun is shooting or if there is a mob behind. That becomes a prob for me
-
Signed
-
Agreed Nothing like yelling into my mic and straining to hear my fireteam...
-
Completely agree! The music is great but I'd rather listen to my own tunes when I play.
-
I can barely hear any of the people in my fire team over the music. I wouldn't say turn it off, but lower the volume at least

Edited by MPFStarlord: 10/19/2014 11:58:18 PMIt is EXTREMLY hard for my family to sleep late at night with me yelling over the music. Please, please, please fix this Bungie. Did I say please?
-
Its completly arrogant to force the music down our throats. 1- I do not like your music. 2- even if Mozart came back to life and wrote your music, id still turn it off. 3- I like to play all my games with no music, it takes away from the inmersivenes of the game and its just a distraction. again, its very arrogant of Bungie to force us to suffer their music. Saddly have have come to the point of playing the game with no sound just to make it bearable. Fix it! Let your customers play they whay they feel like playing
-
Yeah! Fix this instead of nerfing for the 12Yo PVP's
