I understand Bungie is an American company, and there are a lot of Americans playing Destiny, but whats up with those ridiculous event times?
I for one live in Europe,2pm is like 2300 hours in the evening here, almost bedtime, are the events in the actual game sceduald for those times to?
Take concideration for us European gamers to please,i dont mind to join a special event once in a while at 23.00 hours, but it would be much appreciated if there would be events planned for the European timezone at a more desent time to,thank you!

I'm in Australia so we are 17 hours BEHIND that time, I myself got up at 3am to download the beta. When the beta comes back up on Wednesday at 10am I get it Thursday 3am. Thing is I don't even mind, It just shows your commitment to the game. And if you miss out on some events oh well there's still an awesome game waiting for you when you can get on

I would assume this is just a beta thing, makes no sense that the entire EU would be forced to sync with the US time zones. For simplicity I could understand, but for the actual game the expectation should be that the EU has dedicated servers with appropriate even times for your timezone just like any MMO. OR they could allow you to configure how your Destiny client joins instances of the online world. Some may like the larger population in the US, orthers may be ok with later night events etc. So they could provide several timezones/server combinations to choose between.
