Destiny Beta Update
Guardians, you have one day to enjoy the Destiny Beta on your PlayStation. Early Monday morning (Pacific Time), we'll shut down services for a planned maintenance window that will help us prepare for the main event. On July 23rd, every player with a Beta code joins the party on every platform.
Here is your Beta schedule for the remaining days:
(all times are Pacific - US)
[b]Sunday, July 20th[/b]: Iron Banner at 2PM and 7PM
[b]Monday, July 21st[/b]: Closed for Maintenance
[b]Tuesday, July 22nd[/b]: Closed for Maintenance
[b]Wednesday, July 23rd[/b]: Destiny Beta begins on Xbox, and resumes on PlayStation
[b]Saturday, July 26th[/b]: Special rewards and surprises at 2PM
Stay tuned for updates and additional news on limited time engagements like Iron Banner competition. Phase Two of the Destiny Beta will have moments you won't want to miss.

11 RepliesEdited by Cristari: 7/21/2014 10:04:32 PMHere was my schedule for the PSN launch: Thursday 17: Got home from work to find No beta code, complained to retailer got code before they closed. Tried code it did not work. Friday 18: Got home from work got another code from retailer after complaining and registered on Bungie website. Turned on PS4 and spent the rest of the night downloading the game. Saturday 19: Got home from work and managed to get some time in on game (about 1.5hrs) Sunday 20: Got home from work and managed to get a little more time in on game than Saturday missed the Iron thingy event. Monday 21: Got to play about 2hrs before the servers went down spent rest of time on forums complaining! Tuesday 22: Will contemplate removing the Beta from PS4 due to lack of time to play and try it out! Wednesday 23 to End of Beta: working every day will probably only be able to manage 1.5hrs a night at best! Conclusion: [b]TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED![/b]

It would be really nice if we could get the beta emblem for playing during the beta at all. I'm going out of town for the weekend, so won't be able to log it. I'm sure other have similar issues.

What if the maintenance is to try and work out the kinks to allow our beta characters to carry over to the full game.

5 RepliesSo the 26th 2 hour thing is at the same time as my girlfriends birthday party, do we need to log in on the 26th during that time to get our Beta Emblem for the main game? Because if so that is garbage. At least do the event again on Sunday so every one has a chance to get their rightfully earned Emblem
