I picked everything, but really I'm indifferent. On one hand I know what a beta is. We are volunteering our time to help the developer. It's not for us, it's for the game. Charity work. A chore. A burden. It's not meant to be for personal gain. Like volunteering to help at a soup kitchen or an orphanage.
On the other hand, it's not unreasonable to ask to be compensated for our time and the assistance we've provided, and what could be more fair than to let us keep what we've accumulated? The more time we've put in, and therefore the more assistance we've provided, the greater our compensation.
So really, I'm neutral. I'm here as a volunteer and never expected to be compensated, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be pleased and appreciative if compensation were given.
