After unfortunate circumstances (ex. Disability, terminal illness, etc.), you are left with no way to achieve your deepest dreams and ambitions. You stand defeated and in despair, knowing that your purpose of living has vanished.
Suddenly angels appear from the sky, offering you great power and thus another chance at achieving your dreams. However, you must exchange the lives of the ones closest to you to gain this second chance.
Would you sacrifice those you hold dear to achieve this second chance or not?

Edited by Sandtrap: 7/18/2014 6:48:43 PMMy rule of thumb for this is, if I am ever disabled or crippled, or diagnosed with disease that will for sure kill me in a short time, then my life is forfeit. As it stands now, I don't aspire to much. All I ask for is a place I can call my own, a way to produce income without selling my time and life away completely, and some hobbies that will keep me entertained in the following years. So if I was ever in such a state, then what I aspire to build would be cast aside, and I would focus solely on those that I care for. My one core value that has always stayed true to me was helping those I call friends. My life is a secondary objective.

2 RepliesMy dreams died long, long ago.
I am a shell
I would because my dream would to become a real god so I could control and creat anything and I would show myself to the people so they know Im real and know what I look like. I would use my powers to fix my wrong doing towards the people I hold dear.

If my dream is omnipotence, I can bring them back.

1 ReplySacrifice the life of the woman I love for my greatest dream? Hell no; I'd sacrifice my dream a thousand times over rather than go a day without her.

Edited by Ghost of Reach: 7/18/2014 3:36:15 AMBut,I would give my dreams (if I had dreams) for my love ones.

Edited by II Smiggles II: 7/18/2014 2:40:03 AMTo say I would so easily give up my dreams in order to refrain my loved ones from being sacrificed would downplay how important my ambitions are to me. Whatever circumstances that tell me I cannot fulfill my dreams are in no way going to stop me from trying. That exchange would be empty regardless. A life without those you love no matter how "complete" it is would be, in my opinion, is lonely and hollow. Without goals to chase after or steps to climb your life is for the most part over. Now that you've exchanged those close to you in order to achieve that you would be devoid of anyone worth sharing it with.

Angle y u do dis 2 me?

Edited by qy: 7/17/2014 11:54:36 PMNo matter what level of success I had to gain, I'd never be able to live with knowing everything I've achieved is covered in innocent blood. So no, I'm too much of a sap. I'd probably punch the angel in the mouth just out of principle.

Hells yeah! What my fam evva did fo me? Nuttin'.

2 RepliesI have a feeling someone's been reading Berserk. Perhaps. I would have to think on the matter before making a definitive decision, but the outcome would most likely not favor my family members. Kings have much more to consider than family.

My greatest dreams is playing video games. I honestly can't see that being taken away from me.

My dreams are bad....

1 ReplyMy dream is to see the people I love succeed. So, no.

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

2 RepliesAn angel would do no such thing. Only the devil and Jews try to swindle you like that.
