Bungieball - The Fall of an Empire

Although the Flood is still an active tight-knit community, many still long for the glory days before bungie.next. We will never know if below radar has been fixed... Part 2 can be found here!

I got to used to the layout after a month. The tagging system is not great but in no way harms the site. The reply systems gets rid of the absurd quote pyramids. The removal of titles in favor of account ages is a bit of a set back favoring age over activity but is really just an aesthetic change. I definitely prefer this format over Bungie.old. It just makes more sense. Those who say it has gotten worst are romanticizing the past full of ODST, Halo Wars, and Reach haters. The true loss of the update was the exodus of many members but that wasn't the change's content. Most that left claimed the change was bad but in reality they just liked their old format. They had an attachment to the setup and had memories of threads both good and bad. Those that left, left not because the change was bad but rather was was to fast. They were overwhelmed and with a slower steady change I believe many of them would still be hear today. The sudden unfamiliarity removed that sense of "home" and they began to nitpick details that either had little impact on them or were superfluous at best.
