So when bungie do this to xbox. You give a shit but when they did it with halo? (Btw I know Microsoft bought them but stop crying you all will buy the game no matter what. Face it your head is stuck so far up their ass you won't do shit)

-
how the hell did bungie do this to xbox? protip, console exclusives, are not the same as multiplatform games with console exclusives.
-
Sony basically don't want xbox with the dlc so bungie let this happen. Persuasion is a good thing but bungie decided to take the money because that's what this is about. Money. Destiny has ps4 exclusive stuff. Sucks to be you stupid enough to buy an xbone
-
No. Instead Sony decided to let xbox have destiny. They could have made that exclusive as well. And not to mention a multipolar form game with exclusives is the same don't sound so stupid
-
Sony's not the publisher, so they wouldn't really have a say unless they paid Activision an absurd amount of cash. Activision isn't stupid enough to make a game that cost as much money as it did to make exclusive to one console. Let's be real here.
-
Activision are payed by Microsoft for early cod dlc. Activision really do shit like this. It's something we have to live with this
-
There's a major cost difference between a game and DLC. I don't know of any DLC costing $500 million+ to make.
-
Destiny didn't cost 500 million to make. Bungie already said so. Check your facts first

-
Bungie FAQ confirmed destiny cost nowhere near 500 million to make. Maybe you should keep up to date
-
Not to mention you still haven't acknowledged my point about there being a huge cost difference between full games and DLC.
-
Weren't we talking about Activision, who it will cost $500 million in development, advertising and other miscellaneous expenditures over the next few years? And that's coming from the publisher's CEO, who are the ones that give the developer the money if I'm not mistaken.
-
That's probably paying for all the production and shit man. I'm on about game development
-
That still brings me to the point that it costs way more to make a game than to make DLC. With Activison giving Bungie that kind of money, there's no way they'd make the game Sony-exclusive. They'd never make their money back that way.
-
They would make a lot of money seeing as there are more ps4s sold and it would sell more ps4s. Anyways I got some other stuff to do so yeah. Have fun running around the forums!
-
Umm there isn't enough of an install base on either system to make that kind of money on their own. The US preorder numbers show that.
-
Meh I don't care anymore I just liked the fact that everyone got so peeved so easily :p
-
Bungies-activision contracts lists it as 2.5 million dollars per year, for 4 destiny titles. activision furthermore has pledge 500 million dollars over the next 10 years as well, outside of the contract. furthermore, in most cases, the publisher has the developer by the balls, that is not so in this case, bungie has a hell of alot more authority with destiny than any developers (other than indies obviously) i've ever heard of.
-
Just deal with the fact that you don't get exclusive shit. He said destiny on it own cost 500 million to develop. Nothing is going to change. Activision has been payed by Sony for this shit. Maybe next game you can pay bungie for exclusive shit and not be whining on forums
