I was once like you, angry, selfish and evil. I only thought about myself. The only thing I can say now is to wait my brethren. Stay strong, and don't be a bitchy little slob.

2 RepliesI don't know if you've been around very long or not... But... Pretty much the entire online community tends to be like this. Not just Xbox Users. PC Gamers, Playstation Gamers, Netflix Watchers, etcetera. Anyone with internet access tends to be "angry, selfish, and evil". You see, we live in a world where "instant gratification" is the norm and nobody teaches people about patience anymore. Nobody teaches people that getting what you want all the time and as fast as possible isn't a good thing. We live in a world without sportsmanship (who actually says Good Game anymore, and actually means it? Not many.). We live in a world where we are forever in competition with random people we don't know across the net. Who has the best k/d? Who has the most won games? Who has the best loadout? Who has the most trophies/achievements? Who gets laid the most? Etcetera. Unfortunately, we live in a world where this behavior is not just left to fester, but it's encouraged. So, let me tell you a fun little story here. My friend is an ardent Playstation fanboy. He bought his Playstation 4 on release day. I bought my Xbox One on release day. He always brings his system over to my house and talks about all the cool games on it. Unfortunately, the games he enjoys are ones I have no interest in. Another unfortunate fact is that I can't see myself buying a Playstation for anything except buying Retro RPGs that I used to love on the SNES or original Sony Playstation. The problem with that is, however, that the games you can find on PSN that fit that criteria you can actually get much cheaper on the Wii. So, getting back to the story here... My friend plays a lot of games on his Playstation 4 and talks the system up all the time. Does it make me jealous? No. Does it make me want to buy the system? No. What it does make me do is appreciate that he can get so passionate about something that I just don't care about. So, now you're wondering if I do the same to him with my Xbox One? No. In fact, I don't play my Xbox One all that much because of the lack of games currently on the system (which seems slated to change this fall, which will be nice). Also, nobody in my group of friends owns an Xbox One. So, I'd be playing it solo (which I sometimes do, but with a lack of games, the console just isn't used a whole lot). Instead, I've been playing my Xbox 360 and enjoying all the games I've been playing with friends, or the games I have yet to get all the achievements with. I enjoy my consoles and I invite others to enjoy their consoles just as much. Also, to be honest... You know who really has the right to be angry about "favoritism" in Bungie? PC gamers. Bungie started out selling PC Games. Then, they got bought by Microsoft and started making console games. After that, they split the company to dedicate an entire team to Halo (since Microsoft still owns that and Bungie doesn't). Bungie is now catering entirely to console players instead of PC players. If anyone has the right to be righteously pissed off about "favoritism", it would be the PC crowd. Honestly, I feel sorry for them, especially since the Marathon series actually was really freakin' good and makes me want to see them perhaps remake it or release a sequel to it. In any case, we're all here for Destiny. There's no truly "exclusive" content. Playstation just gets the updates first, so they're the guinea pigs for early bug tests and game crashes. When the Xbox people finally get their hands on it, it's likely that it'll be more stable. Plus, if you seriously can't wait for Playstation Timed Exclusives to go live on your Xbox... Well, then you're an idiot. Rarely has anything "exclusive" from Bungie (see the word: Never) ever been "overpowered" or "useful" for more than a few hours of gameplay. Trinkets are just trinkets. Oh, and anyone complaining about how Playstation users get more time with the Beta... Well... you guys are idiots. I believe I read somewhere that Playstation users will get two days of gameplay, then there's a chunk of time where the Beta goes offline for maintenance and such... Then it comes back online for the Xbox users. So, essentially, we all get the same amount of time to play it. In fact, I took two days off of work to play it. I get 4 days in a row to play it just before it ends. All day, every day. No playstation exclusivity or early releases can break the joy I hold for that fact. See you all starside!
