That is completely and opinion. Plus do you have an Xbox one? Also the kinect can still be used and is fully function it is just optional now. Microsoft have said that they have made the Xbox one flexible and can change many things.
The Xbox One is an awful console anyway, so who cares?
Opinion.

You say opinion a lot. I'm sure there is an appropriate Princess Bride quote that could go here. It would probably be far better if you were to ask the .. and I can't believe I'm typing this... stumptownretro why he thinks the Xbox One is an awful console. Is the Xbox One awful because it launched at a higher price point than the PS4? Is the Xbox One awful because it has less computational power than the PS4? Is the Xbox One awful because even after the price cut is still offers less product for a consumer's money? Is the Xbox One awful because Microsoft flat out lied about sales figures? Is the Xbox One awful because Microsoft's new CEO signed off on changing product scope? Is the Xbox One awful because Microsoft's former CEO signed off on all of the anti-consumer practices announced at E3 2013? Is the Xbox One awful because the incoming VP for the Home and Entertainment division has a record of killing products? Is the Xbox One awful because Microsoft actually had to shut down factory production and pay to repackage existing consoles as physical warehouse held inventory at multiple retailers worldwide had reached maximum capacity. Is the Xbox One awful because purchasers are paying a premium for essentially a brand name? Well, no. The answer to each is a clear, no. There are reasons here to not purchase an Xbox One. There are reasons here to not support Microsoft. There are reasons here to be suspicious of the Xbox One's future as a product. There are lots of reasons to form opinions. What the Xbox One is... is a console that no logical consumer would consider purchasing... and I'm not even referring to the Kinect enabled version. As a game console, in and of itself, the Xbox One is not a competitive product in it's price bracket. Which is pretty much why no one really cares, and why I had to dance around the subject Xbox One console myself when reviewing the Alpha test. While I feel sure that Destiny on the Xbox One will be a competent product capable of conveying the experience of Destiny... the Xbox One it is not the technical roadblock to product development that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are.
You say opinion a lot.
Do I? Maybe that's because I'm either expressing or addressing one. Regardless, are you stalking me that you can claim this?
I'm sure there is an appropriate Princess Bridequote that could go here.
How drôle.
It would probably be far better if you were to ask the .. and I can't believe I'm typing this... stumptownretro why he thinks the Xbox One is an awful console.
I don't recall soliciting advice on this. Why don't you tackle that since your that way inclined.
Is the Xbox One awful because it launched at a higher price point than the PS4? (ii) The nub of your post. Attention drawn, intellect demonstrated, job done. Congratulations.

Fact actually. Even Microsoft themselves is dismantling added components to make it catch up with their competition. It has insufficient hardware to manage its dense and useless OS and Games simultaneously. I own all three of the current gen systems and the Xbox One is easily the worst.
Fact actually.
No, still opinion I'm afraid.

Don't feed him, DaDerga.
