Yeah.
The reason I'm not getting a desktop is because a) I don't have time to build one b) I prefer using a laptop and c) I'll be moving around a lot.
Anyway, my budget is £1000 and I plan to do gaming and perhaps some video editing. This build caught my eye http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/form-view/optimusV-17/Optimus-V-860/ (not sure whether to go for the i5 or i7) Wasn't sure if there was some place I could find equivalent/better laptops for cheaper. Any ideas? On the build I linked, or on where I could find better laptops. I'm not too knowledgeable on computer specs so please don't be mean. :( I want a laptop that is mid-high end and that will last a few years.

the difference between i5 and i7 is that i7 has turbo boost tech, which lets it minorly overclock your cores automatically during super heavy loads. you want i7 for gaming. i5 is if it's just a typical workstation that you use for business documents, etc. if you're going to be gaming, a laptop isn't the best choice. also a laptop is a subtype of PC. desktops are what you want for gaming and other performance intensive tasks since they're far more customizable and modular.
