I know Destiny is really awesome but...

I want to know what you've seen that you don't like. Not bugs or anythings, but gameplay aspects. Also anything you'd like to see. I haven't been following Destiny as much as I could've been so I'm not too sure on all the content that they will be releasing in the full game, so some of the things I mention might be in there already. With vehicles, especially our sparrows, I'd love to see a racing crucible game. (Any thoughts on why or why not?) This is more of a complaint (and maybe a bug) but, I'd like to be able to walk more than a couple feet away from an area before the fallen respawn there. (Anyone else noticing this?) (This was my wish all along) I like the whole line survivor aspect of it, and I know they never set out to create the tradition "MMO" but I wish that you'd find people everywhere (like playing "WoW" or something) (Thoughts on why this would be a bad idea?) Anyway let me know some of your issues and what you'd like to see in the full game or even beta. Another question to get your brains going, would you like to see it play cross platform? Also what would you think of your own gun customization? (Is this already a thing for full launch?) (It should be noted) I'm super lame and have not played the crucible yet, but I would still love to hear any changes you'd like to see. I just wanted to say thank you for everyone who has participated in this forum! Edit: as unlikely as you think it is Bungie is still looking to make changes and they want to hear what you have to say and what you want to see. So aside from reporting bugs, which you really should do if you see one, go to alpha.bungie.net to rant about what you didn't like about your alpha experience and what you want to see.

  • No Prix chat/fire team chat in strikes or PvP if not in the same PS mic party group, as far as I was concerned. Enemies spawn back too fast----- might be alleviated by more guardians. Only 100 vanguard/crucible marks per week, hopefully expands to more

    - No proximity Chat - Needs a harder legendary mode - 4 person strike team would be great - Tower bug where you cant see people sucked (and more stuff to do in tower would be great) - Enemies should be more active in the open world maybe do the halo thing with dropships more instead - Golden gun in pvp

  • -Load times are pretty long -No way to tell how much glimmer you have unless you are at a vendor as far as I know -When exploring it gives you some optional objectives but they are all the same concept of killing a group of enemies and collecting some material they have -Players can't join a session in progress in PvP so if people on your team rage quit then you are stuck with less people Overall I thought it was truly a next gen game even though it is only in the alpha stage. I can't wait for the beta and the full release. Good job bungie!

    • - Load times are painfully long. - Enemies respawn way too quickly. You kill a group, walk away, then go back in that general direction and they're standing there again. - Sometimes enemy groups don't seem lively at all. You can spot entire squads just all standing still in an area waiting for the players to get close enough for them to turn on. - While exploring it's really easy to run into enemies that are a way higher level than you. When you get sent to an area to complete an objective for a mission at level 5 it really sucks to run into multiple squads of level 8-9 enemies that you can't even hope to kill. - Some boss type enemies have way too much health. The Devil Walker fight at Devil's Lair takes a ridiculous amount of time to complete. It's basically a sponge that sucks up your bullets little by little for half an hour as you duck in and out of cover trying to avoid it's 1-hit attacks. It becomes repetitive really quickly. - Checkpoints for missions and strikes aren't frequent enough. They go sequence by sequence, but it really sucks when a sequence takes 20 minutes and you fail 3/4ths of the way in just to have to start all over from the beginning. - Not enough control prompts at the beginning of the alpha to teach you the controls. - Some of the vehicles on the multiplayer maps are too overpowered. Many players take advantage and are able to sit in the vehicle for the entire match just 1-hitting everyone with the cannon shots. - Navigation in the tower is pretty rough until you memorize the locations of all the vendors. It would be really useful if we could set waypoints. - Loot is pretty hard to see and really easy to miss. Some of the most important drops are pretty tiny. Some added markers of visuals to make them easier to notice.

      • Only complaints I have are: - Load times are ridiculously silly. I don't want to feel as if I actually have to travel to the moon every time it want to do something. - Legendary mode doesn't feel legendary enough. - The AI has the wit of a chicken nugget. What I would love to see are more tactical fights, like the Devil Walker but more dangerous. Though looking at the complaints about Devil Walker, maybe more involved tactics would be over the head of a lot of players.

          • Not a fan of the crucible so far. Something about the pvp just feels weird. It doesn't feel as tight or smooth as halo for example. Doesn't help that the super charges are op (in pvp) imo

                The voice acting is hopefully just a place holder. Sounds like some nerd in their basement recorded reading the lines. Plus my female character has a man voice lol

                    I wish I could go prone and NVGs were standard. Although it is Sci-Fi, I like realism in games.

                      • Only 14 fricken sniper bullets is absolute horse crap. I know man's golden age has passed...but if I am able to travel to Venus and Mars and the moon to do battle they have to have come up with the technology of a fricken ammo pouch that lets me carry more than 14 rounds. Even if they are .50 cal come on.

                        • I tried the Pulse rifle and it seems practically useless. In multiplayer people are either using Auto Rifles (Everyone seems to have much better aim than me) or Scout rifles. The scout rifles are pretty bad in CQB they are outdone by everything.

                          • I have been playing the Alpha for hours tonight and if I could have just one thing changed, it would be having bigger fireteams. I am loving the game so far, I just want to enjoy it with more friends than just two. That, or allow us to join our friends 'server' even if not on the same fireteam, so we can still play together. This is a big pet peeve of mine in games, when its not possible to play with friends, or when its difficult or awkward to do so. I had 10 friends playing the Alpha tonight so we all got into a voice chat and talked about the game as we played. How much more fun we would have had if we were all on the same team, or at least in the same server, playing together. My opinion is that fireteams should be at least 6 players maximum, if not more.

                            • Personally I enjoy playing solo, and at times with others. Having no offline mode, Destiny would wear on me if I couldn't get away from people bunny hopping, constantly dancing and generally screwing around. I take my Bungie stories seriously, and other people tend to ruin the tension I so enjoy. Just my 2 cents.

                              • The dumb special abilities that give you free instant kills... I'll be on a 15-kill streak and someone will use their magic ability and get an instant kill on me and ruin my streak. Quite annoying and not skillful in the slightest.

                                  Nerf the Titans Fist of Havoc ability. You can't counter it, even jumping away as you see him coming down on it the range is too large. Even a simple quick jump follows up by fist of havoc will kill you. That's all I got, game is way polished and amazing.

                                  • Hmmm Well so far ; ( this is me being picky tho as yes it IS awesome. -I'm not happy with the control button presets I don't like being FORCED to uses the bottom shoulder buttons to aim and fire. A custom layout would be nice. -I keep getting sound breaks when there is a lot of gunfire going on but that could be my fault somehow. -The AI isn't THAT exciting yet but that might come later -The loading times when moving off planet are a tad long but again that could improve. -The public events ...unless I'm wrong they are not based difficulty wise (like a lot of other mmo's) based on how well/how many people were doing it last time. This is a good wY of doing it as it gets harder and more fun when looooots of players are online but if there isn't many ppl online or your in an area without many players you still have a good chance of doing it even by yourselve. Aside from that I'm happy so far but its early days.

                                  • I am really enjoying the alpha. And for ALPHA it's really well polished. A few things I think could use some tweaking are as follows. 1. Enemy AI is a little weak. I enjoy fighting hordes of enemies but when there's only a few they are far to easy to kill. The only challenge I see there is higher level enemy's have more HP and shields making them a bit tougher to take out but only for that reason. They don't have any behavior that is difficult to overcome. But it's just that, "ai" not a human adversary. 2. I was hoping for a bit more from hidden loot chests. Even the harder to find ones usually only give glimmer rather than something I can show off. 3. I would like to see something of a tutorial on how exactly weapons are upgraded rather than just waiting for whatever decides it's progress to simply happen I the background. 4. I also agree that being able to upgrade weapons with attachments either crafted or found/bought. Something visual I can do to alter it and make it mine. 5. I would also like to see the same thing with armor. If anyone saw the presentation bungie had on showing the tools they were using to make armor it would be pretty uncanny if they altered that for the players to create unique armors even if only for esthetics I am sure I have more but it's late and I just played for 5 hours and have work in 7 lol
