The problem with this bud is that Split Screen is a lot feasibly harder and I personally don't want them negatively effecting the end product by having to hamstring Split Screen into the game. The game is a social co-op game yes, but it's open ended concept make split screen hard to implement. It's all about being your own person, if you have a guest how would they code that? Do these guests have to make their own character? use one of your existing ones? have to have a separate account with Gold to play?
I personally accept the fact you have no split screen, god knows I have enough games like that. Split Screen is just possibly unattainable at this stage, would be nice but I can live without and live on as the game looks very good so far.

The guest account could yes use one of your characters or if they play as guest or bugnie could have some pre made Guardians to cut out the creation process. And as far as they have to have separate account for GOLD or Ps Plus no it would be as long as the main player has an gold or ps plus account just like how it works with halo or COD. Just be clear I still am getting the game and supporting Bungie but we would like them to know that alot of the community would like to see the split screen option there and i know they can add it in a patch with this game or work it into the next destiny.

Well who knows this is a big ambitious project, there has to be limits haha

If one plays as a guest, then their progress wouldn't be saved, just like always. On the other hand people will be able to download their profile from the respective network and be able to play with that character. It could be much like Halo:Reach or literally any other game. The character, its gear and its abilities would not be bound to a certain console. All players would have to pay for the network service, but again, that is no new concept.

So am I getting a no for the vote? Because I truly believe Bungie will follow through.

I'm saying No because I don't want a tacked on Split Screen, not at launch. It can be added later, or in a next installment. I'm not having a go at you or the idea behind what you want just it is very late in the design process, I wouldn't condemn a game like Skyrim to having Split Screen, so why should I do the same for Destiny.

If you vote yes, splitscreen could just come post-launch. ;)

Edited by NinjazInside: 6/12/2014 6:14:30 PMblurgh but effort haha, changed just for you, but all I'll say is not before it comes out, have it come out after, its not core to the game so I don't mind waiting, who knows could have someone to split-screen with myself in time xD

Hahaha I respect that. :)
