They're not going to change it. Urk explained exactly why they made their decision against split screen and I agree. We are only a couple months away from the games release so nothing major is going to change unless you want them to push back the date. And even though they are very commit to their fans, it's not our game. It's their game. We didnt put any blood, sweat or hard work into it. So stop complaining about split screen, and go play halo 5, I'm sure they'll have split screen.
more like greedy fans, than greedy game companies

OsiRis VeX If the community feels like something should be changed or added will Bungie give us what we want? That’s an interesting question. It’s very rare that our beloved Community agrees unanimously about anything. This we know because we listen. We study and we watch. Bungie has always learned about our games from you. Some of our more interesting innovations have been sparked by your more interesting interactions. Now, if you come to us and demand that your favorite weapon gets buffed so that you can win more games, we’ll smile and nod and remind you that we love you. However, if you surprise us with some hilarious or fascinating way in which you share the world we’ll turning over to your control, some new magic just might happen. This how things have always been between you and us.
Bungie said they will change the game if we speak up. That's the reason for this.

I'm not saying split screen is a bad thing and I'm not saying bungie doesn't listen to their fans. But this far into development your not going to change much. You just sound like your whining for split screen. Skyrim would be awesome split screen but for games that have character investment it doesn't work well. Fable did it and I thought it was half ass. If they could find a way to do it in destiny 2, and it works that's cool, but this game has already taken shape.

This game isn't finished. There will be several updates throughout it's whole career. So they may patch in splitscreen.
