Ghost's Voice in Destiny Alpha Videos

I know that all the footage out there is just that footage and it is alpha gameplay, but for the love of god please tweak the ghost's voice before releasing the game. In all of the videos I've seen it sounds so flat and at times very annoying. I understand it is supposed to be AI and it is not supposed to have all the emotion or intensity of a real person, but right now it is in a very odd area. Although robots/AI are monotone stereotypically, when listening to the narration I am very aware that it is a voice actor. So instead of sounding like what I would imagine a semi-conscious computer to sound like, it ends up sounding like a very unenthusiastic, apathetic voice actor who can't wait to get out of the recording booth. I am not saying that the voice actor did a bad job, I just think there is not enough to the voice to let it stand on its own because of the confines that come along with trying to sound like something that is not truly alive. I think this could easily be fixed with some added effects like a little bit of reverb and echo, and maybe a couple ambient noises that could lend his voice a more techy vibe. I think Futurama's god voice is a good example of this, I have attached a link to a short clip of the voice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t14zGAfNKoU

 • I have to admit, there was an absolutely ugly line I heard in the Alpha, and I don't think it's going to change. It's regarding the first mission where you fight the Hive Wizard. The ghost says "There's a Wizard here. You see something floating in the air, you have to kill it." Considering the ghost has already shown moments of Jestering and sarcasm, the better way to say that line is:
"There's a Wizard here. You see something floating in the air, kill it!"
Maybe add "Just, watch out for me." It's okay to say something that makes you smile in the heat of battle, because there would/will be plenty of worse fights to get into that would make the ghost hush up and let you concentrate.
