Why Marty?

I believe the reason the "leave" that Bungie inc. inquired for Marty is because they did not need him any more or they didn't want to fund him. Or could there have been turmoil between Marty and Bungie inc. please if you know anything about why Marty was fired leave a comment.

  • Well, as a member of the general public, I know nothing about any of these decisions other than what's been made publicly available. However, as someone who wants to know these things, it's in my best interest to speculate wildly about the situation without pesky things like "fact checking" or "statement accuracy" weighing me down in order to sate my thirst for answers that will most likely never be made available to me. Marty claims to have been fired without cause by Bungie's BoD. However, he names Harold Ryan responsible for withholding his unused benefits. Why Ryan in particular? The answer is simple. The two clearly had a big macho showdown over the Ivory Tower.
