Now I just want to say that I don't know much or anything at all about religion.
I was wondering what you guys would think of a world without religion. A lot of bad things happen in this world because of religion, right? Like wars and stuff.. But also about freedom and how we live with eachother.
Would a religious free world be better? I think it would be.

Depression would run rampant in a world where EVERYBODY believes that they're just some cosmic accident, and hundreds of thousands of suicides would follow. Governments would become tyrannical, because they have no God to answer to. THEY would become the highest power, and could do whatever they want without repercussions. After all, there would be no God to judge and punish them for whatever they've done. Every country would have it's own Adolf Hitler to run it. There would be no true reason for ANYBODY to do good, because no matter what you do, you die after 80 years (If you're lucky) and everything you did will be forgotten after 20 years. So, it would be far smarter to soak up all the pleasure and fun you can within that small window of time. Why do charity and service when you could find pleasure with alcohol, food, and sex? Humanity's main goal would be to have as much fun as possible before you die, no matter the consequences. Once you die, the world you leave behind will be the problem of somebody else, and they can deal with it. It would become a very dark world; one I would never want to live in.
