Hear hear! Stop prohibiting acid and crack and heroin from flooding out streets and protecting us from drugs government! We are adults. We know how to take meth responsibly. Stop infringing on our rights as citizens; to poison our bodies with whatever we feel like! Your war on drugs obviously isn't working, so the next logical conclusion is to let them take over. • Because clearly if something is legalized it'll immediately take over society, just look at how homosexuality is pushing all straight people to the fringes of society..... oh wait that's right, it doesn't work like that. Look at Portugal, they did what America doesn't have the balls to; they legalized all drugs, stopped putting otherwise innocent people into prison, and used part of the money they saved to set up rehab for people who DO get addicted or harmed by certain substances. treating them like patients instead of criminals. and it's worked beautifully. As it is, the most popular illegal substances are less dangerous than the legal ones are it this point. Pot, acid, shrooms, and a number of others are far less toxic and less addictive than legal substances like alcohol or tobacco. and people should have the freedom to find out the risks for themselves instead of just being fed state controlled nonsense.

[/quote] So we should get people addicted to drugs, and use the money we'd be "wasting" on stopping people from getting addicted in the first place as a means to help the people we just got addicted to the drugs? So we should make them patients instead? Here's an idea: let's not make patients or criminals. Society is bound to get better using that plan. There is not one benefitting factor about meth and acid and so forth. Making it legal is obviously the right thing to do. It's bound to help people in some way. You're a goddamn idiot.

  • Acid has no benefitting factors? I'll agree with meth, cocaine, and some other things, but acid is hardly harmful and actually helpful. From what I've seen acid helps stop the pain of cluster headaches, helps cure some addictions, and a probably a few other things I'm forgetting. None of these are 100% proven due to almost no legal testing since the 60's, however from the recent studies that have cropped up it's shown LSD is worth looking into as a medical drug. If you still wish to refute that for some reason (Understandably since there isn't a whole lot of concrete evidence, and I'm too lazy to find what there is), I would hope you'd also wish alcohol to be illegal as well. LSD, shrooms, cannabis, and some others are not addictive, and you can't die from overdose.
