I think it was stupid to arrest and kill people over plants. The blind drone thinking started with the beginning of the drug war where people killed others over plants because the gov't said so.
I think it was stupid to arrest and kill people over plants.
So what about cocaine and heroin then? Cocaine utilizes the coca plant and heroin with the poppy seed?
-
Ask yourself if people deserve to die for growing/making those two for self use or selling.
-
Die? No Arrest? Yes Serious health risks of Heroin is that it's heavily contributes to the issue of HIV/AIDSs, along with hepatitis. Why is this? Because heroin users inject themselves with needles which will be used over and over again. And why do they inject instead of smoking or taking it orally? Because much of the morphine is lost in those methods, thus decreasing the euphoric feel of the drug. Now imagine if heroin was legal, you'd see far more people injecting themselves and sharing needles which would increase the numbers of people diagnosed with HIV/AIDs and placing a heavier burden on health facilities and insurance companies Also after using opiates like heroin, users enter a "nodding out" period where they become drowsy and space in and out. This would mean it would be another drug we would have to regulate even though it was legalized. After all, it would be irresponsible of us to allow anyone to use this drug while say driving or operating any sort of machinery. They could hurt themselves or more importantly other people with this dangerous habit. Plus it would be a huge liability for an employer to hire an addict/user as they can come to work under the influence and do God knows what

Exactly, everyone should have the freedom to put whatever they want in their bodies
-
Indeed. Even other peoples flesh if they are in the mood for cannibalism. Nobody should be able to tell you otherwise. Feel like getting high? Eat those mushrooms. Feeling hungry? Bite that kids arm off. The government has no right to tell you what you can put in your body.
-
Everyone has the right to put whatever they want in their bodies, so long as it doesn't harm others... Obviously. Perhaps I should have clarified. If somebody wants to go out and smoke some pot or eat some shrooms, the only person it has an impact on is themselves and causes no harm to others (and in most cases anyone at all) unlike cannibalism.... Obviously.

Obviously, I have been mistaken. These hardcore drugs should definitely be legalized as I just noticed they only affect the user. Thank you for opening my eyes. If you're going to say no one has the right to draw the line at what people put in their bodies, who are you to then say you don't have the right to draw the line at cannibalism? You probably support abortion and/or the death penalty.

ever think that maybe if instead of threatening that theoretical mom with life in a for-profit super prison for an addiction she can't fight, if the state provided her with rehab and medical care to get her clean and back on her feet she'd be able to take better care of her kids. certainly a lot better than if she got life in prison. And so, by your logic, if random Joe likes to kick back and relax a by smoking a little pot at the end of the day, he should face the same legal consequences as killing and eating another human......

Not getting addicted to the damn drug in the first place.
And so, by your logic, if random Joe likes to kick back and relax a by smoking a little pot at the end of the day, he should face the same legal consequences as killing and eating another human......
How you even arrived at that conclusion is beyond me. I haven't even mentioned pot in this entire discussion. Stay euphoric, neck beard.

Guess what, legal or not people are gonna try drugs, it's a matter of wether we want to treat people like criminals for putting a substance in their own bodies, and feed a $20billion prohibition (remember how well alcohol prohibition worked). Or do we want to save money, take mass profits out of the cartels, and treat addicts like people who need medical help (which some do) instead of criminals. If the the sensible policy there isn't obvious then you're dumber than I though.
If you're going to say no one has the right to draw the line at what people put in their bodies, who are you to then say you don't have the right to draw the line at cannibalism?
Implying that lighting up a joint does equivalent harm to others as killing and eating somebody.... Go back to dickriding your morals and values campaign you senile conservative moron.

You've gone full retard. This discussion is over. Arguing with a druggie about what's smart and what's not is like busting a nut in a hooker, and who the -blam!- would want to do that? My point has been made.
-
I'd do it if she was on the pill.
-
I'd do it if I was on a pill or high from some other drug I think should be legalized.
I fixed that for you.

Made me laugh
