T4R
The game overall seems to be highly influenced by GTA. They took all the mechanics from the series, and imporved upon them. The hacking is versatile and fun, the movement is quick and solid. The games looks better than GTA V ever did, and the dr ving mechanics are spot-on.
However, that being said, the dialogue could use some work. Some family exposition feels forced and the game takes itself too seriously. Obviously, my opinion might change, and you can read about it when I finish the game.

That is all.

Finished the story. Have to say that it's absolutely annoying when the cops ram you into the side of the road and you can't do anything about it. Also would love more choices and the ability to choose whether or not to spare targets in convoy and gang hideout mission.
-
This game is awesome for me, I'm playing on a 360 and still loving it. I've never played gta, to crude and juvenile for my tastes. I've come to expect forced exposition from open world games, but I'm glad they're trying to make an actual charater, unlike most games nowadays

Title is very misleading. Game had nothing to do with watching dogs. 5/10, if you're in to animals, stick with Kinectimals.
-
I've never had a GTA game. Would you recommend me buy this game to try out the genre?
-
I just did the Privacy missions and now I'm depressed
-
framerate chugged like a MF before the graphics card optimization update Nvidia rolled out, the game is a bigger GTA with hacking and better mechanics.

Edited by Ossku: 5/31/2014 1:51:39 AMThe way you react to various environmental stuff is pretty darn impressive. For example Aiden starts to tumble after sprinting a lot.

I'm probably one of the few that actually love it. Spend at least an hour walking down the streets of Mad Mile and The Loop profiling people and chiming in on their texts/calls
-
Funny, the only complaint I have is the driving. All side activities are excellent though, I've bought all the best weapons and 2 of the cars I wanted simply through side activities and just walking around in the city hacking bank accounts, and I'm not in act 2 yet either. Story is good, most of the characters are interesting and its something I'm able and willing to follow.
-
Pretty amazing game, the driving is bad but it can grow on you, hope they fix the uplay problems tho.
-
Driving is a bit stiff, and hacking whilst looking behind you is annoying because of being unable to see where the -blam!- you're going. But other than that, it's pretty damn good. Buttloads of stuff to do. Although crimes popping up frequently can get annoying: how am I to stop a shooting or whatever in the split second between a perp actually breaking the law and me being able to stop them? Am I supposed to just shoot?

Edited by Hayabusam60: 5/30/2014 6:31:49 PMI'm just going to get back into GTA V. Boom, saved $60. EDIT: I am getting the game today after thinking about it.

No doges watching 0/10

So far, It seems good. I think I have my graphics messed up though.
-
Car models piss me off with how little detail they have - as well as how bad the car textures themselves are. Car physics are bad Everything else i'm enjoying. Definitely worth the price i payed for it.
-
The game is very good except for driving. That's subpar.

I was watching my friend play on twitch for a few hours last night and we came up with the exact same impressions of it. Also that deliberately glitchy transition is terrible, I thought he -blam!-ed up the stream settings when I first saw it.
-
Looks like it could be a fun game.
