Please try not to be stupid. It doesn't suit you.

People with sub 3mbps internet speed can't stream Netflix in HD and you expect them to be able to stream real time games? K.

Read the thing. The tech streams ahead of time.

Still doesn't mean the current internet speeds are even remotely able to handle the load. Even if they "pre stream" they still have to stream. Until the US gets reliable GB internet cloud gaming won't equate to anything.

Australia has slower, crapper internet, however with the localised data centres and what not my connections even whilst playing against US players has been fantastic. You have to remember this crap is still under construction, not fully operational. I think it's best everyone waits to see and hear the exact details before passing judgement. After all humans once believed the world was flat, that flight was impossible, and that the human body couldn't survive more than 40km/hour.

Edited by Space Beaver: 5/22/2014 2:24:54 AMThat means you have great ping which isn't exclusive to DL/UL speeds. Streaming in raw data is much much more demanding on your DL speed. Are you capable of streaming Netflix/Amazon Prime/Twitch in HD? I never said this was impossible to do. Just under current internet infrastructures this isn't a feasible thing to do. Until Fiber is the standard cloud gaming won't equate to anything outside of processing AI behavior.

In Australia we can't get netflix. It's region restricted to us. There are ways around it, but it's too difficult. So I can't answer that. I download on average at 700 - 800kb/sec. Which in compared to what I use to get is extremely fast.
