I said that I didn't think the Wii-U was a next-generation console. He/she gets mad and mutes me for no reason.
I try to explain to him/her my reasoning and that maybe we could discuss the possible miscommunication between us, but it's too late. He/she's already muted me.
I understand if the person is being an a-hole about his/her opinions, but I wasn't. And to me, it seems like he/her was trolling me. No one acts that irrational in a conversation[i] they[/i] struck up.
Did I do something blatantly wrong, or is this guy just messing with me?

That's all. So basically by arguing otherwise you come off as either a troll or a console warrior (which I get isn't what you were trying to do). Though they are a little twitchy on the mute button if that's all it takes.
