Edited by Dr Oofinshmirtz: 5/7/2014 6:12:33 PMParents dont care anymore. They'll get it either way
-
indeed as they always find a way O_o either from bad parenting or and countries with with no age laws on games, but you can always add them to your ignore list :D Here in Sunny *cough* England we have age rating laws on video games which shop owners must abide by.
-
Hahah unfortunately here in the USA kids can get their hands on pretty much anything if they ask their parent's. It's ridiculous xD So long as there is an ignore list I'll be good to go :D and look forward to possibly seeing you at the tower! ^^
Will destiny be M? It better be
remember, they are actually TRYING to get a T rating, unlike bethshida and elder scrolls online. Bethshida "tried" to get T, but we all know how that ended
-
Will destiny be M? It better be
if it's rated T, then there will be more noob kids to beat up in pvp, and to answer the question: there is no gore,( except for cabal liver), no in game cussing from gaurdians, and no sexual themes, what's to rate m?
-
There are noobs anyway but In M games there are no restrictions. It generally makes games feel more real

Guns?
-
Guns?
non realistic guns that shoot laser-like bullets? Nah..
-
One would think you're right, but I've read and watched on the news personally of a story of a boy killing his father because he thought he would respawn when he shot him. They played Halo together. So just because they are futuristic non realistic weapons doesn't x-out the possibility.
-
But not the parents falt the kid has access to a gun?
-
But not the parents falt the kid has access to a gun?
nope, the kid had choice then, no matter what age or what problems he had, that doesn't mean the dad should have been more careful about, though...

Edited by Jinx: 5/7/2014 2:58:48 PMI've gotta say I agree with you, and that was completely the fault of the father on a few occasions. But taking everything into account I think would make for an even better game. I know they are going for a T rating, but I feel as though they would have a broader client base if they added a bit of gore (Not extreme gore) and just rated it M. Not to mention not having to listen to children swear up a storm because of something they can't have. It should add to a more friendly environment overall.
-
1. the kids in America don't know about this game yet 2. Some have pre-ordered, so it doesn't matter what rating is 3. Parents don't look closely at the stuff they buy for their children anymore, I know a few kids who got away with getting GTA5, the kids were at least ten or younger!

Guns?
non realistic guns that shoot laser-like bullets? Nah..
and they don't make realistic sound. I don't care what rating it is, I have more friends who will play it if it's T and not M
-
They are still ballistic bullets, not lasers, though they do sound like it, fusion rifles are the only energy based weapons
-
They are still ballistic bullets, not lasers, though they do sound like it, fusion rifles are the only energy based weapons
but the bullets are light colored and shoot extremely fast, even for customized rifles, this is cooler, it'll train me for Star Wars battlefront 3, fps style from dice:)
-
Yes battlefront 3 can't wait!
-
That means they are tracer rounds, which ignite as they travel at high speeds in the air, they are used to see where you are shooting.
-
That means they are tracer rounds, which ignite as they travel at high speeds in the air, they are used to see where you are shooting.
I know that, but that doesn't affect the rating, besides, there are tons of teen games with guns, like warface, that doesn't mean it's intense violence, like in War of the North
-
Edited by AntekTheWinner: 5/7/2014 4:10:00 AMThat's true after all shadow the hedgehog had guns and that was rated T But who knows what they might rate it after these recent gun control laws in America.
-
If they do, then esrb will be sued by me, and I'm going to use watch dog tech to hack all their mainframes: Hail Hydra, and Agent Garret, who turns out to be the ORIGINAl DEADLOCK!! spoiler for your agents of shield

I have a question
I have a question
I am a servant of Christ, my friend, thank you for asking. I'm no "contemporary Jesus freak", but I'm not an old traditionalist. I'm simply a servant obeying His commands, nothing more.
