They are called a focus.Bungie already said each class gets different ones they can switch out and level.
-
duh..... why else would there be more than one choice of class....
-
Because it is mythic sci fi which in fantasy games usually there is a classes and also there may be classes so player can have different roles and tactics used for each character.
-
I think there will be attachments for weapons and maybe even things such as upgrading your weapon so it has a shock or flame effect for lots of damage
-
No duh in the promotional videos you see differences in scopes and the camos are different

You guys are missing the question! I said if there will be class mods, like the ones in Borderlands. For example: The Slayer of Terramorphus. it gives you +8000 health, 34% fire resist, and other awesome benefits.

it's called a focus.

Not sure if it will be anything like that, but they have stated that on your progression in the skill tree, once you find a build you're comfortable with you can lock in a few(or all)of your choices and gain hefty benefits from doing so.

Will we have class mods in Destiny which will give us Titles or benefits that will aid us when the time has come to strike our enemies, like the ones in Borderlands and the Legendary class mod "The Slayer of Terramorphus". Notice how I mentioned BORDERLANDS and the class mod that is dropped from the boss... That's my question that I want Deej to answer... Its not the characters or the weapons or the skill selections. Its the Titles that we'll be known for. In my previous topics, I mentioned some class mods which could possibly be in the game, For Example: Titian (character) = "Unstoppable Tank"(Class mod), Warlock = "Legendary warrior", or Hunter = "Stalker of The Fallen". Hopefully this will help people understand my question. Please reply if possible...

I think stuff like that will mostly be the gear. They've said they want people to know where you've been and what you've done based on the gear you're wearing; I can completely see there being named gear like "Stalker of the Fallen Cuirass."

Now you guys see what Im talking about. :) A little different, but it still means the same thing.
