It's not a Beta anymore, if it was a beta Bungie would have had more than a couple of months to work with the feedback, what ever happens in 'summer' is more likely just a server stress test.

Thanks for the constructive feedback friend. I can tell that you are an actively positive presence on these forums.

Or maybe your post is just retarded?
It's not a Beta anymore,
Beta is a term for the stage in development the game is in, which is what it will be when we first get to play it.
what ever happens in 'summer' is more likely just a server stress test.
... Which is largely what a Beta is for. It isn't for player feedback nearly as much as it is to make sure the game runs properly.

A beta would allow Bungie time to act upon what they learn, weapon balance, feedback on the UI. If the Beta arrives as far along as late June/July, keeping in mind the time it will take to print and ship the game, it does not leave them enough time to build upon the feedback they receive. I'm sure they'll call it a beta, but it's too close to ship date to be anything more than a Demo. But hey, they said it will come after e3, which technically could be as soon as June 13th. Let's hope so.

Bungie has said many times that they're treating the Beta like a full release. This means the "Beta" will pretty much be like the full game, therefore won't need much fine tuning (although still will need some).

Yeah I guess you're right. They need to make sure the servers don't absolutely collapse under the pressure. How many activities do you think will be available? Hopefully an instance of every game mode, probably not campaign however.

I read in one of the new articles that Bungie wants us to get a taste for mostly everything, including: Strikes, Patrols, Public Events, and The Tower. Not sure if raids will be included, but I guess we'll see. Story unfortunately is a no-go. Like I said before, they're treating this like a full launch, so expect it to be almost a complete version of the game.
A beta would allow Bungie time to act upon what they learn, weapon balance, feedback on the UI.
As I said... that isn't the point of the Beta. It's a nice thing to have, but that isn't the point.
I'm sure they'll call it a beta, but it's too close to ship date to be anything more than a Demo.
No offense mate, but you just seem to be under the misunderstanding that a Beta is meant for a developer to get player feedback to make changes. It isn't. It's for server testing primarily, with those other things being 'nice to haves.'
