Why do people actually believe DX12 and "muh cloud" will bring parity between the Xbone and PS4
Anyone with basic understanding and common sense should be able to see that it's just a load of PR bullshit.

I don't think the cloud does anything, but dx 12 [b]will[/b] improve performance, no it probably [b]wont[/b] save the Xbox One power wise, but I will be using DX12 on my PC.

3 RepliesI'm not allowed to have visually stunning games in full definition and smooth frame rates because I'm only allowed to like gameplay. I don't want the developer to give me a game close to how they imagined it. I want to restrict their creative process because of my sub-par hardware. Next I think we should only have mono-sound instead of stereo, because I'm only allowed to like the gameplay.

It might live up to MS's claims, or it might not. This sort of announcement is a typical Microsoft [url=http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear,_uncertainty_and_doubt]FUD[/url] exercise. it's a sign they are really worried about the performance disparity; but don't have a short term solution.
