I worry a bit about pvp. From the story itself (so, we're all guardians of earth, but then we're fighting each other??), to the fact that there's a chance loot differences my cause unbalance in competitive, to the fact that Bungie has been very tight lipped about it for a long time and still are. Other than that, the game feels awesome to me, nothing but good vibes.

You can trust Bungie to bring us a epic PvP experience. They have never disappointed us yet, and don't say a reach was trash because a crap ton if people loved and still love that title.

I believe in that, I really do.

They said they would balance is by equipment and proven ability in battle. Trust Bungie man.

We fight each other because of faction alignment. Thats the only known functions of the factions so far. It is balanced because matches will proably start with lower level guns ( pistol and simple assault rifle) and the you have to pick up ammo for your better weapon ( ex. Thunderlord). And anyways, if you sign on at launch and jump into pvp you are not gonna be as good as the guy who has been playing the game since the beta and has a fully upgraded " thunderlord " are you even gonna stand a chance? And the point i was originally making was that even in halo or cod or battlefeild there is going to be some nerd who plays 24/7 and masters the game in a week. If you sign on and finally get to the point where you can access pvp and go up against him ( even if you fought without guns and supers) do you think you can beat him?

For me balance in competitive is about skill. If I face the nerd, then sure he should be able to beat me because he knows every corner of the map and game mechanics since he's been playing it around the clock. But he shouldn't be able to beat me because he's unlocked this huge cannon and this awesome armour that no matter what I do my weapons are just not enough because I don't have much loot. Many ways to fix that, from careful match making to some strip down when entering pvp to other options. For instance, we know that we'll enter pvp with no ammo for RL - that's a step in the right direction. And its not a critic, op asked what were the concerns and I posted mine. Hopefully, Bungie will have it covered.
