I also don't like that there will be a beta.
So the game should be a broken mess? Having a public beta makes finding the bugs and glitches a hell of a lot easier.

 • Those can easily be fixed in the studio, it's more about marketing. Besides, i don't like how so many players will get an unfair advantage.
Those can easily be fixed in the studio,
Like I said it would take longer to get the full game and the problems would take longer to detect. An open beta eliminates the time it takes to fix the game greatly.
Besides, i don't like how so many players will get an unfair advantage.
Like I said. If you can play a FPS game then you should do fine in Destiny after the first day. It looks like it's the generic FPS formula. So there's really no steep learning curve to the game besides some new things. Get your head out of your ass.

 • Thanks. I really don't get the whole thing about the beta people having all this mighty experiences over the new players. They would have some, but it looks like your typical FPS game. If you can play CoD than you can play this at a decent level. At the end of the day you're going to get the game mechanics like the armor abilities in Halo Reach. If anything he's just saying this because he's not able to pre-order the game.

 • It's either that or he's mad that his parents didn't pre-order it for him. By looking at the gameplay it looks no different from CoD. So there's really no steep learning curve to the game.

 •
Those can easily be fixed in the studio,
It will take longer and the final game will be bugger and have more glitches. Public betas help the final game be more complete. And what's so bad about people playing the game before it comes out? After a day of playing you get the hand of it. A FPS game is not hard at all to figure out. If you do OK in CoD or Halo you will do OK in this for the first day.
