Too tired to stand there any longer
But living in a rural area has its perks it would appear. Was magical and had a good handful of shooting stars whisper across the sky at the very last bit of visible moon. I would go in depth if I weren't so damn exhausted.
For a few moments however the face of the moon showed up, and with the light that danced like molten rock over it, the face seemed to move and twist. As it reddened the stars became vibrant. As if someone had tossed sparkling dust over the sky and swirled it.

Very Poetic smiggles. See, I brought my laptop outside so that I could listen to music, but while I was waiting for the moon to red I was reading creepypasta. Scared myself into going back inside.

Lucky... I hate where I live, but I must admit that night is stunning every now and then. Unfortunately I'm usually stuck in my room with a window that has a view comparable to that of a prison cell...

Edited by II Smiggles II: 4/15/2014 10:40:54 PMWhy are you always stuck in your room?
-
- Shitty neighborhood - No friends - Nothing to do outside other than skate around town and possibly get hit by a car (again) due to the lack of sidewalks all the while being burned by the sun... Et cetera, et cetera...

Nothing beats the sky when I lived in the back lands of Mont. Bay I worked as a courier so I was out every single night. And almost all of them you could see the fat belt of stars stretch across the dark sky. If you stared at it too long you'd find yourself lost in the depth. Treeline nothing but a blur in the back of your mind. We would lay out blankets and watch the star showers once in a few years. And the town as a line of liquid gold on the horizon. When July 4th or New Year's came around we could see the Fireworks from our home shoot up from the town and pop. Sizzling down slowly as their thunder claps arrived a second or so later. Despite the light pollution from them you would still be able to see the dark sky and planets clearly.

That would be a sight to see.
