American TV > British TV
We have some stand outs every now and then like Life on Mars or Fresh Meat but the US constantly delivers.

Yeah no. The US pretty much banks on HBO, because I can't really think of any decent show not made by them apart from Breaking Bad.

Wow, its the other way around, other than a handful of decent american shows the majority is British and (a fair amount of) Canadian
-
Wut... British TV is superior in every way possible...
-
Hey, Life On Mars is awesome if you shut it off right before the ending.
-
The ending is a masterpiece. When you realise what it actually means it's such a tragedy.
-
Aside from HBO, they really don't

British comedy blows US out of the water, with the exception of gems like Arrested Development and Scrubs. HBO is US's saving grace concerning drama, as well as shows like Breaking Bad ect. BBC still produces a lot of fantastic stuff too though.

The only station we have that outclasses anything British is AMC as far as I'm concerned.
-
Ehhh HBO as well. The Wire, Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Deadwood...
-
I haven't actually watched any of that besides Deadwood.

Deadwood is one of my fave shows.
