The setting is possibly New York.
It also sounds interesting to play as a Templar for the whole game as opposed to a small section.
It also ties in with AC: Freedom Cry.

1 ReplyI have yet to try ACIV Black Flag or ACIII for that matter, so even if they did come out with a new one it would be a long time 'till I got around to playing it.

11 RepliesEdited by Vgnut: 3/28/2014 8:06:34 PMThey can't seriously be contemplating releasing two of these at the same time. I feel like whatever goodwill Black Flag built won't last. This is going to result in franchise fatigue to the max. Just release one game for 360/PS3/XB1/PS4/PC like Activision will for COD this year.

3 RepliesYawn, another year, another bland uninteresting assassins creed game... Still waiting for them to branch out from the renaissance era and include setting from around the map... Imperial china and the fall of the roman republic seem like 2 really good time spans to have an assassins creed game in, at least compared to another early days of the American democracy setting...

1 ReplyI wouldn't be surprised if you are the Templar that brings Haytham to the Templars.

1 ReplyAdewale and Haytham?

1 Replybleh i am tired of new york

Hmm hope it's good. I'm getting series fatigue with Assassins Creed. AC4 was good but you can only carry a story for so long.

3 RepliesEveryone here is talking about assassin's creed. And im just here playing metal gear solid 2 Sons of Liberty.

4 RepliesDespite having left ACIV until recently, I feel franchise fatigue again with this series. Hopefully it's nearly done. I mean, I won't get this 'Comet' (Bungie mad at having its Destiny DLC title used [maybe]) because I'm pretty much done with the 360 at this point, at least until GTA V gets story DLC, unless Games with Gold actually gives me something worthwhile, but still, a game a year, now two games a year, just sounds exhausting. I like commas. And I liked the War of Independence setting and story, but in the context of the game it was just poorly executed, with shitty little farmsteads and half-arsed towns to run around, not to mention the game mechanics themselves (buggy and altered from Revelations just to seem new). And naval battles were... okay. Just a bit too intense for me to want to play them all the time. Which is another reason I avoided IV for so long.

2 RepliesHopefully New York is set up a bit better for parkour this time around haha, but anyway that sounds interesting to put a game between 3 and 4 to link it a bit better.

1 ReplyMaybe some Achilles?

Assassins creed died for me a long time ago.
