Opinions on MGS Ground Zeroes?

Now that the game has been out for sometime, for those of you who have played the game, what are your thoughts on it? I am completely in love with the game. Well worth the 20 I spent on it. I already nearly have 25h put into the game and I still have a lot of stuff to do. The gameplay is incredibly solid and fun as hell, no matter if you are taking the stealth approach or the guns blazing approach. So many different ways to mess with the guards and set up traps, it just doesn't get boring. And the story, while short, was very good. To get the most out of it you need to have at least played Peace Walker and listened to the tapes. The tapes in Ground Zeroes give you a whole other perspective of what was going on in the camp, and further develop the characters of Paz and Chico. It is truly heartbreaking what goes down. Few games have ever affected me emotionally and Ground Zeroes did that. Paz is most likely my new all time favorite female character in any form of media thanks to the events and development of Grond Zeroes. So, do any of you guys plan on getting Ground Zeroes? For those that have, what is your opinion on the game? [spoiler]RIP Paz </3[/spoiler]

    The Rock has played Ground Zeroes. The Rock has beaten Ground Zeroes. After spending quite a bit of time with it, he can only say one thing: It absolutely...[i]rocks[/i], no pun intended. However, The Rock says it's not for all of the millions...and millions of The Rock's fans. Content-wise, the game is bare bones; there simply isn't enough to justify the $20-30 price tag for non-fans. Even casual Metal Gear fans should stay away, at least until a price drop. At the very least, rent it. But The Rock is not a casual Metal Gear fan. The Rock is actually a rabid, hardcore Metal Gear fan and he doesn't regret purchasing the game. Even though the main mission is short and the side ops are even shorter, he keeps coming back for more. It allows and encourages multiple playthroughs; whether to complete all of the trials or just changing up your approach, there's a lot of fun to be had playing the missions again. The best thing about Ground Zeroes is that even though the open, sandbox level design is a huge change for the series, it still plays and feels like a Metal Gear game; The Rock's biggest concern was that it would lose its identity, and fortunately that didn't happen. The new marking mechanic feels like an evolution of the old radar system. Reflex mode is invaluable, though not a perfect crutch or "easy mode" button. The Rock doesn't even mind regenerating health as much as he thought he would. Ground Zeroes is everything that was good about Metal Gear, just evolved and adapted for the modern era. Of course, there were things The Rock didn't like. He didn't like how sparse the narrative was. He was quite annoyed by Miller's incessant banter over the radio (Seriously, if Miller says one more thing about calling him for intel, The Rock will fly to Mother Base, take Kaz's radio, turn that sumbitch sideways and STICK IT STRAIGHT UP HIS CANDY ASS.) Overall though, The Rock was pleased with Ground Zeroes. If this is what we can expect from The Phantom Pain, then it's gonna be Game of the Year, guaranteed. [b][i]IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLL.........! WHAT THE ROCK... IS... COOKING.[/i][/b]
