Unless you plan on playing purely PvP, it wouldn't be an issue. The campaign should take up more time anyways if the maps are truly as big as they say. If someone wants to hack to get through the campaign, it means they are either lazy or suck at video games. No need to cheat on a game that seems like it is going to be epic and fun. And if they hack on PvP, just do what any other gamer would do. Report them, take a screenshot (or even a picture with your phone if you can't capture/stream video from your console, and let Bungie do their job and take care of it.

I don't know. People hacked dark souls and dark souls 2 just to get through the game. And because they suck at life. Unfortunately, it's super easy to edit your save files on the xbox and the Playstation. All you need is a thumb drive and a couple programs on your computer. The good thing is that so far I have not seen anybody hacking destiny. I do see people with really awesome gear all the time though, which sucks, because everyday after work I grind in strikes and stuff and don't get anything. I did the vault of glass, and I didn't even get any of the armor. Just a legendary ship and a bunch of shards. Come on.
