Edited by Vibe With God: 3/19/2014 9:10:11 PMRussia is technically is in Eurasia. Russia is in both the continental regions of Asia and Europe. Check your facts. Next time I'll mention every European country. And if you checked the thread, we have already discussed this

I was not referring to the geographical position of Russia in my reply. When you are using Asia it inlcudes Russia - putting it in was unnecessary in this case. Also you could have thought that poll trough before posting.

Russia is also include in Europe is my point. It is classified as a Eurasian country.
-
It is classified as such but in discussion value it's mutual understanding that, when talking about Asia, Russia is also included.
-
I'll concede to the fact that Russia has more than half of it's geographical area in Asia. Therefore, one can assume that Russia is in the Asian continent, but has more connections with the European continent.
I'm getting tired of this
Edited by Atticus: 3/19/2014 10:12:06 PMWhen talking about connections (not necessarily economic ones) the SCO is also to acknowledgeable. Opposing to the NATO which generally consist of Europe an America, the SCO consist of a good part of Asia, also dividing it into Western and Eastern spheres. It may not be a geographical or not necessarily be a cultural border bit it's a very significant one nevertheless. Taking these connections into account Russia is 'more Eastern' or 'more Asian' than being 'more Europe' hence it's more common to refer to Russia as an Asian country.
