I went PS4 because Sony has exclusive content deals with Bungie. Ghosts will suck ass on either console, Titanfall is COD with mechs, and Battlefield is COD with tanks and jets. The way I see it, until Destiny comes out, all you can get on either console are different versions of COD, so why bother?

And Destiny will be COD with Space magic and Loot.. ;) jk!!

Well, the co-op will be like Diablo with guns, it looks like. I am guessing competitive multiplayer will be more of a Halo style setup. Bungie has always cared about balance and has never yet let unlockables interfere with MM balance. I hope they continue that tradition.

Except for armor lock , that was so unbalanced

I don't know, it was pretty rare armor lock ever accomplished much. Invis was much more frustrating. But, none of them were unlocks. Everyone had equal access to them every game. Something you don't see in shooters anymore.

That's very true. But Destiny is coming out on both consoles isn't it?
-
Yes, but They have deals with Sony for exclusive additional content. They haven't said exactly what that is yet, but because there are so few other worthwhile games on the horizon, it was enough to sway me. If Halo 4 hadn't been such a gigantic turd, I would have stuck with xbox, but since they killed that franchise, figured I'd focus on the game I'm hoping to get the most out of.

Edited by JBieberPlaysPS4: 3/18/2014 8:50:43 PMAh ok I gotcha, makes sense. I pretty much went the same route as well. Gears of War is trash now as well. Gears 1 is still one of my favorite multiplayers ever, along with Halo 2. Plus, I mainly reserved the PS4 and bought that because of how bad the Xbox One initially was. No used games, was the deciding factor alone. When I don't play a game anymore, I sell it online so I can at least salvage some money from it. But once Xbox One fixed all their BS, I just never bothered to switch back. As far as my post, I am still considering selling PS4 and getting X1. I'm not even going to buy InFamous because there is no multiplayer, as bad as this sounds: if there is no multiplayer with a game, then I'm not interested. I buy games to play online with and against other people. I don't get any entertainment value whatsoever playing a campaign for hours. I have owned every single call of duty game, and the last one I beat was World at War.

Thank god you weren't a gamer in the 80s-early 2000s. Actually I wouldn't even consider you a gamer, just seem like another broshooter drone.
-
Times have changed, that's not my fault. I wouldn't have known any better in the 80s if that's all they had....

Doesn't change the part where MP console games are as stale as they come these days, and aren't worth the 60$.
