I'll sum it by my 17 year old nephew's statement who loves COD and Modern Warfare.
Nobody wants to play Fail-O.
Halo is now a joke. It'll never be allowed to go all the way in any direction other than Halo 3 reskinned.
Why 343 is even bothering trying to tell a new story is baffling when all they have to do is just anniversary 2 and 3.
Could you even imagine a Mantis running around like a Titan? The backlash from its fan base would be deafening even if it was roller coaster fun levels.
They want only one thing. Confirmation they are right. Which they'll get right up to the next launch of the adjacent COD game where Halo population tanks again as gamers get their battle vests on with spectacular commercials with celebrities leering at Megan Fox.

But Halo 4 isnt really a new series...o.o

<.< >.> So I guess I'm the only one who thinks running around in a Titan on Halo would be a little epic.

You mistake my sarcasm. Fast paced mechs in Halo would actually make we want to play it. But it would never fly with the fan base. They can barely stomach the geriatric walker they have now. New tanks and new vehicles would go long way in making Halo viable for me anyways.

Edited by Dragonfire: 3/18/2014 5:02:38 PMFast paced mechs could work in slow gameplay, it's been done before. My grip with the mantis is it has too many weapons, was too defense heavy and was used in cramped environments. To make a fast paced mech work in halo you would have to either nerf it's armaments or give it a lot of weak points.

So 343 is wrong foe telling more stories?
