I always read online of people having problems with Gamestop all the time. The things that they complain about I have never had those things happen to me. I've been buying my games at Gamestop for years and not once had a single problem with them. The employees there are cool also. One time when I went to go buy Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, and another Halo Reach disc, the cashier and I had a conversation about Halo. We both talked about our favorite Halo memories that we've had and said that I would enjoy Mass Effect 2, which I did.
I've had more problems at stores like Best Buy and Wal Mart for games. I'd ask if they had anymore copies of a game and they would say "if its not on the counter then we ran out." Bullshit.

Also I read the title on the main page as: "Am I the only person that has never had a probe" Yeah.....
-
You're not the only one, my friend.
-
You are the only one in the world maybe even the sol system
-
I've never had a bad experience

The people at my local EB Games are pretty cool, one of the guys there is a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, so safe to say I can never hate him. Must just be in the big places.
-
Same here, man. My friend used to work at my local EB Games, so I got pretty acquainted with all the folks who work there.
-
I never have issues with GS either, I agree that best buy employees never know shit about games.
-
Most employees at my local Gamestops are complete douchebags who force Call of Duty down your throat.

I only had one problem with Game Stop. I went in there one day to sell my copy of Pokemon Emerald(I regret this decision). I talk to the lady at the counter and tell her what I want to do. She says she can't take my game because the label is torn off. I told her that there are other gba games in their case with the label torn off. She continues to be rude and tells me they can't take it. Two days later I went in there when she wasn't working and sold it without a problem.

The only problems I've ever had with them is not getting much trade-in credit. But I usually buy games from Amazon now anyway.

You're not alone. Seriously, I hear this stuff about terrible service and things like that but I've never seen any of that. The only problem I have with the place is the prices of some used games, in which the used version they sell is only a dollar cheaper than the brand new one.

Edited by Kafuu Chino: 3/13/2014 4:48:57 AMNo trouble at all. My visits have always been quick with no hassle.

I didn't have a problem until I bought Etrian Odyssey 4 for from them, the guy looked at me funny and the slip case was all -blam!-ed up. Never went back.

I thought the same thing until last year or so when the manager and his team left GS. The new coup there now don't seem to know much about games. The manager is rude, grunting and sighing when you ask him to do his job! The old manager gave me a GS gift card...for dressing up as Anthony Carmine for GoW3 launch, and the DragonBorn for Skyrim launch. We even had pizza!!!
