Would you want your progress or save to be read and possibly unlock bonuses in each sequel of Destiny?
Note: Each sequel might be a whole new story in the universe so maybe our character won't continue but would you like some form of this feature?
I'd like to hear from players that said no also.

Mass effect and dragon age did a good job at doing that.

Not sure of they will make a whole new game for a while but if they do I wouldnt want to already be max level and stuff. I would like to keep my character but half the fun is going to be ranking up and upgrading all your stuff.

6 RepliesThe words persistent online universe, is all you need, to know that our guardians will carry over game to game. And your character in ME series did carry over to the next game, if you beat the previous one. Bungie also wouldn't be putting such an emphasis on "this is your guardian, become legend" if they just wipe it game to game. The way bungie has worded how the story will go, each game after the first is a continuation of the last. Not a brand new story line each release.

Edited by Galahad: 3/10/2014 3:59:55 PMOne of the reasons Destiny seems exciting is the idea of having the same character for 10 years; one of the biggest journeys any character has made in a video game.

3 RepliesThis is a persistent world, by definition your character should stay with you. Think wow and expansion packs. The environment may change and/or be expanded but the world should stay.
