"8 weeks" until Bungie has hopefully reached their last major development milestone. Entering their final round of development. The beta's date has not been confirmed.

  • Yeah, I have to agree. Eight weeks until a development mile stone. If I am reading through the lines correctly this means they will be done with development of Destiny. In my opinion, that give Bungie and additional 4 weeks to hash our any major bugs before they release beta in June. Have they confirmed a character reset when the game launches?

Most games that have betas normally have betas about a good month before the game comes out. But I could be wrong they could have the beta for as long as they want.....

They haven't confirmed it, but most people assume so. Traditional or, I should say, in most cases characters are wiped prior to launch. It keeps things fair and makes it easier for developers to avoid "surprises" as they do their final tweaks.
