EA does not own them its a partnership.
-
I don't see EA giving up that partnership so easily, especially with the PS4 potential market.
-
Actually EA has a very close partnership with Microsoft at the moment with all the sports franchises, no reason that can expand to other parts of the market.
-
EA has a relationship with whoever has money. Titanfall would make more money if it goes to the PS4 aswell for the second game,
-
But, now this is only one game here, XB1 has the lowest BF4 population out of all the systems it is currently available on, with less than half of both the ps4 and pc pop, and decently lower than both the ps3 and 360 population. Couple this with the fact that Sony just passed 5million ps4 sales WW, the furthest I see ms/ea (and other devs like atvi) negotiations going is timed dlc. MS had their chance, now I can imagine EA is looking at a piece of that ps4 pie.

Microsoft has the money
-
I just don't see it happening. Respawn already had planned the first one to be Multiplat, they are probably happy where they are, except for MS and EA making a deal behind their backs or course. Sure, money talks, but why go for the system that has a smaller install base and miss out on a potential 8 million sales, plus DLC, by the time the second is due.

Edited by H I S C H E R: 2/18/2014 1:11:31 AMTo increase the install base thats why MS would by it to move consoles
-
That's just going to cost MS a good chunk of money for a game that's going to compete with one of their top franchises. But... We'll see in 2 years when the sequel is announced. Personally, as long as it's on PC I'm set. Preferably it'll come on PS4, but I can live.
-
As long as Titan fall comes out early on in the year it won't be competing with either halo or gears of war hardly any games do come out this early in the year compared to summer
-
Yeah i wouldn't say its definitely going to happen but id say Microsoft is considering it.
